"Land line" Phone not working
Modem (and router) powered up fine. Internet connection worked once I called Comcast to register it. However, I can't get the phone line to work. Spent 2 hours on line with Comcast and got nothing.
Any suggestions? One thing of note: Comcast asked me for my MAC and CM MAC address in order to register the modem. In the admin page of the modem, on the "administration --> Voice status" page is something called an "MTA MAC address." Is that something Comcast needs to have to make my phone work?
