r6700v2 Not coming close to isp speed
I've seen a number of posts here and elsewhere regarding this issue. I have a 6700v2 that is not getting even 6% of my 1G uverse speed. I've tried going back to first firmware, tried 5-6 different versions, removed QOS, set router to factory and no luck. I have verified that direct connect to uverse modem gives me between 500-800mb/s direct wired and i'm direct wired to the 6700 with no luck. Router is past the 90 days and I know the issues all have had with getting help without paying for it.
Anyone have the definitive answer on firmware and configuration that does not bottle up the speed.
Thanks in advance.
Re: r6700v2 Not coming close to isp speed
Is the modem configured to be in bridge mode? If it is in router mode and you cannot set to bridge mode the r6700 should be configured as an access point and not a router. Not good router feeding router.
