r7000 at two locations connecting to each-other as VPN

Hey all,

I have no idea if this is so simple so maybe that is why I can find the answer, but years ago when I used to buy prosafe gear from netgear, connecting two routers to each other at two different locations to manage a rather automatted VPN that did not require desktop software was the way I used to set things up.

I can't find these settings on the R7000.

Maybe I am looking for something that is not there?

let me know

I used to deply the WG302 ProSafe, that was my go-to default router for at least a decade...

any idea what replaced it?

Are you sure?  The WG302 is listed as an Access Point, not a router.  Netgear's SOHO-class WAPs are here.

If you want something with IPSec tunneling capability, then you should look at one of their ProSafe VPN Firewalls.
