r7900p 1.4.1.68 firmware upgrade breaks ipv6
just upgrade my r7900p to 1.4.1.28_1.3.28 and ipv6 will no longer configure. I cannot manually enter dns addresses and getting them from the ISP returns the nonsense you see in the screen. I have factory reset and can reload previous config but the moment I hit apply it does to this unde nonsense. I have also reloaded the new firmware all to no effect.
Here is screen shot:

What firmware are you actually trying to upload?
there isn't a 1.4.1.28 for the r7900P that I could find.
Did you try downgrading the firmware? maybe it did cause an issue.
fyi, uploaded photos can take several days to post as a moderator has to approve them. You can add them right away by clicking on "choose file" and adding them that route.

Re: r7900p 1.4.1.68 firmware upgrade breaks ipv6
Greetings,
He's just made a typo. I'm sure he's referring to 1.4.1.68
I've just upgraded to .68 on my R8000P which shares the same version, however IPv6 is working here.

Re: r7900p 1.4.1.68 firmware upgrade breaks ipv6
I have the same issue after updating firmware to 1.4.1.68 on R7900P. Reset to factory settings via UI and reset button on the rear panel didn't help.

Re: r7900p 1.4.1.68 firmware upgrade breaks ipv6
I ended up being forced to do a hard reset via the power up physical reset process and then re-loading my router from stored configuration file. Not a happy camper.

It may be some time before the images land. To ensure that you aren't posting anything naughty, a Netgear moderator has to approve the pictures.
