Review copies usually go to the magazines/websites etc that will publish the reviews. They then allocate them to a reviewer.
The only time when a hardware maker will deal with individuals is if they are well known reviewers who have a track record of writing published reviews.
Maybe you could publish some links to your own reviews so that the Netgear folks can see if it is worth passing on the details to their PR people. Actually, many companies will put these things into the hands of a PR company that will maintain its own list of reviewers.
