slow speed

I note that the dowload speed of my router is quite fast on my laptop or PC when it is hard wired

However, the speed is quite slow when on wireless and worst on my smart phones.

Also I experience quite a lot of internet drop off.

My home is about 400Sqm, single level brick veneer with a tin roof.

Help please.

You've given us almost no information. Which firmware version on the router? How fast is your Internet speed (down and up)? What speeds do your wifi devices support? How are you testing and on which band? What modem do you use?
