Re: snooping on ac 1750
There is a manual for the R6700 somewhere at the end of this link:
>>> R6700 | Product | Support | NETGEAR <<<

i need to enable igmp snooping.
You might get better answers if you explained what you are trying to achieve with that.

the people at netgear are clueless
Perhaps they had a hard time trying to understand what you are trying to achieve. They may not have come across "igmp snooping" in the context of routers rather than switches.
My network DM200 -> R7800 -> GS316 -> PL1000 -> Orbi RBR40 -> Orbi RBS50Y -> RBS40V

Re: snooping on ac 1750
I think NG only supports it on switches...
I did see this, https://routerguide.net/enable-igmp-snooping-on-or-off/ and it mentions:
"From the default router advanced settings tooltip on an Asus branded router:"
So maybe that is the only home router vendor that has that. If so, might want to look at Merlin f/w but I don't think they make one?
Saw this, https://community.netgear.com/t5/Nighthawk-WiFi-Routers/How-to-enable-IGMP-and-multicast-on-this-fir..., but that might not help either?
