hi, so i setup my R7000 so that my kids have access on the guest network only. what i cannot figure out is how to shut it off at a cetain time so they are not staying up in bed watching videos or on facebook etc.
is there a way to do this? and if not why?

You cannot turn off guest by schedule, without turning off the primary SSID too. The guest and primary SSID use same radio.
another option is to use Block Service "ALL" use address reservations to assign a consecutive group of IP's to the kids devices. Enter that range of IP's and activate a schedule and wait for the long faces.
Look at the parental control function too.
