unable to access the readyshare drive i created with my mac

Hello, i added a usb drive to my router. (via routerlogin..)
On the usb drive, I created a folder called share. So technically, I was able to connect to the drive since I could navigate to the correct folder on the drive.
I then created the shared called family pointing to this folder.

Acces to all for read only and admin for write access.
Whenever i try to access it, i got that i am not authorized, even if access is granted to public. I tried rebooting the router, etc. No success.

I tried folder connect to ...

smb:/readyshare or smb://readyshare/Family

all with no success. I get an error I am not authorised.

seach forum and web but with no success.

Thanks in advance.

Hi jcbrandy,

If the write access is changed to all, will you get the same error message?

If on Windows did you create a Windows Credential for the share? You need to do that to access the drive usually.
