wifi is slow

wired speed is 60Mbs, wifi speeds are only 6 to 9Mbs....help!!!

What wireless devies are you using to test speeds on? 

What frequency are you connected too? 

What channels are you using? 

What security modes are you using? 

Any other wifi neighbors near by?

both 2.5 & 5 with different devices

channels are on auto

security mode -

WPA2-PSK [AES]

Try Manual channels on 2.4Ghz, 1, 6 or 11. Any manual on 5Ghz, say 48. 

Disable IPv6 on the router as well, set for local only. 

Might disable any speciallized wifi features if you see any under Advanced Settings/Advanced wireless.

tried the channel....no joy

IPv6?? not sure where that is

we have been having wifi issues for awhile...and finally tested wired speed and saw that was fine...thus a router issue as router wifi speed was only 6-7 Mbs out of our wired speed of 60Mbs

Maybe.

What devices are you speed testing with while using Wifi?

Some devices are not capable of high speed testing. Why wired LAN cable is preferre over wireless as there many factors that contribute to bad results.
