AX12 RAX120 Is not connecting with AX speed
I installed Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 cards in my ASUS and MSI laptops. I am only getting a 1200 Mbps connection to them no mater how close I am to the router. Is anyone getting AX speeds from their AX router. Does anyone no how to get an AX speed connection to their router? I have the latest drivers and firmware installed. Firmware is 1.0.1.108 I have checked the configurations multiple times to make sure they are correct.

Re: AX12 RAX120 Is not connecting with AX speed
The speed of the router depends on placement and quality and settins of the router. If the router is close to your device and according to you all of you all the needful settings are also done, then you should ask a professional experts like Facebook router specialists.

Re: AX12 RAX120 Is not connecting with AX speed
Couple of questions.
What area/region are you in?
Are you using smart connect?
Are you connecting to the 2.4ghz or 5ghz stream?
What channels do you have set for 5ghz?
Have you used the most updated driver from intel? What one are you using?cc
the AX200 does connect at 160hz channels in a 2x2 configuration. The max connecting speed would be the 2400mbps in the 5ghz. The 2.ghz has the potential for 1200mbps connection. But to use those in 5ghz, the RAX120 has to use DFS channels. Are they available in your area? if you're in an area with active DFS channels, they might be disabled frequently and defaulting back to 80hz wide.

Re: AX12 RAX120 Is not connecting with AX speed
I've got a couple of iPhone 11s with AX turned on and in pretty much every instance they've connected at 1200 on 5ghz. I think I read somewhere a 2x2 client will run at 1200. There are no 4x4 clients yet so 1200 is the limit, but no sure on that.

Re: AX12 RAX120 Is not connecting with AX speed
I knew that but in order to get full AX speeds the client needs 160 channel support also.
I think he's looking for the speeds on the box and that's not going to happen.
1200 is pretty quick no complaints here, but then again I'm not using my RAX80 it's sitting in its box.

Re: AX12 RAX120 Is not connecting with AX speed
The AX200 from intel should be able to connect at 2400mbps if its properly running and if the router is properly running. I've had it connected at that speed to my RAX200 as well as another AX solution.
but the max for the Iphone is 1200mbps because of the 80hz width limit to iphones.
