It's definitely the router. Not able to access e-mail with two different computers if the router is in the path.
Remove the router, and e-mail works just fine from both computers.
This issue began yesterday morning, all had been working fine since May 18th when I purchased this router.
Ports 110 and 587 are standard for POP3 e-mail accounts, my domain/e-mail hosting service fully supports these ports.

A few things to check:
- Can you see anything in the router's logs?
- Have you tried a reset of the router?
Before you reset, save a backup of the settings just in case it doesn't fix things and you want to revert to the old configuration.

If there is one it might also help if you told people the make and model number of the modem/gateway/ONT that sits between this router and the Internet. Is it, by any chance, also a router, with a set of LAN ports on the back?
I ask because a lot of people turn up here trying to put a router behind a modem that is also a router. That can complicate troubleshooting. And that includes routing issues that might affect your email ports.
This is not an issue that I have seen here before, so it might have something to do with your local settings rather than something that hits all users of this device.
