AX4 RAX35 - ISP provides 400 mbps, router transmits only 70?
I purchased this router about 6 months back. I have 400 mbps internet, and when i check the nighthawk app it says i am receiving 420 mbps consistently INTO it. But when i do the speed test, i only receive 70 mbps MAX. Has anyone else had this issue? Its frustrating that i cant call anyone at Netgear since their support ends in 90 days. Does anyone have any suggestions on how this can be fixed? Thank you.

It seems this router is only transmitting upto 70-80 mbps. I have updated to the latest firmware and all. Please help.

The App (and Genie Web UI) based speed test does run on the router, and is intended to test the speed between the Modem and the ISP (plus the ISP links to the Spedtest sites of course).

Here you test the complete connection from your computers, devices, or mobiles to the Speedtest sites.
Wired LAN? Fast Ethernet or Gigabit device?
Wireless? What kind of wirelsss devices, wireless adapter, OS, driver versions, ...?

Re: AX4 RAX35 - ISP provides 400 mbps, router transmits only 70?
Right, I do mean that what I pay for is 400 mbps fiber internet, and it seems that’s what’s coming into the router, but when I check the wireless speed I’m getting on my phone or laptop it’s caps at around 70. So does the router have a limit I wasn’t aware of? Not sure why it’s doing this.
