Since the latest update on rax120 any getting this issue happen randomly authentication issue wifi drops and says it doesn't recognise the password. Works fine then randomly does this.
Mine seems to of stopped from what ive seen but I did change location of router from inside cabinet to on top of it. But when it did all my Google and Samsung devices had issues dropping or connecting even though they were fine ten minutes ago.
Based on the quality of netgear support and the time spent on this issue, most of the "solutions" are more guess and hope rather than address the underlying root cause, provide and explanation and an assurance the problem won't return. This simply isn't good enough and I have now replaced the router with a different model from a different manufacturer and all is working fine.
A once great company let down by unreliable products and poor support.
