CM1200 to Rax200 WAN aggregation slows down (requires reboot)
I have a CM1200 modem and RAX200 Router with WAN agreggation (2Gig). My internet speeds slow down to 25Mb after approx 24 hours. Rebooting the router fixes the issue for another 24 hours and then the...

my mistake somebody posted that they had a AUS that work. It was Asus RT-AX88U they said worked. I do not know if any AUS rounders work, the person that was asking purchased something else anyways. thanks for the info. There many new products out now haven't been keeping up with new ones. I don't know if any work for sure. Netgrear isn't going fix issue I agree. I don't believe it's a Comcast issue. Netgear release notes doesn't acknowledge any issues WAN
i don't have 1g service. I get about 350 mbps constantly without WAN which is the speed of service. It is better than the old linksys router I had.

I have the 1G service with comcast and I average about 947.82 down and about 42up. I have been in communication with someone in Comcast who has taken this to engineering and this was the response we got back yesterday.
"Hey Chris,
Following up, the eng team responded and said Netgear confirmed this issue was fixed in the latest firmware V2.02.05 which is rolling out to Comcast customers GA 8/19 in 2 days."
So if everyone can start reporting that has comcast as your service and your firmware revision after 08/19 to verify if you have received the new v2.02.05 would be great. Remember it may take a day or two to receive after the initial rollout.
- dayjobAug 18, 2020GuideFor which device? I would assume you mean the modem (CM1200) since that is the only device Comcast can push to, but the current version is V1.02.02 and the version you mentioned would be a huge jump which I rarely see happen. Curious if the version is wrong or I am thinking of the wrong device...

Although one or two newer Netgear cable devices do claim to support user updates.
I have yet to see any evidence that ISPs update on a regular basis, especially for third party modems. (They may not even do it on rented modems.) From what some people say here, most ISPs don't even seem to know about firmware.
It would be great to have reports here of updates going out to particular hardware.

Well considering all this started when I was on the comcast forums investigsting the same issues across the board with my Comcast Account. I asked if he could look into this. He is the Director of Technology Product Experience with Comcast. I gave him various links to many people having the same issues with my modem version and firmware. He was willing to push it up engineering chain to get some results. He has, I have emailed him again regarding if the update and if it is limited to the CM1200 or will all be getting some type of firmware update across the board with multiple modems and such. I am waiting to hear back at the moment.

I can confirm that firmware V2.02.05 for the CM1200 has been released! My CM1200 reset itself on 12:08am Pacific on Comcast. Can't test out link aggregation right now and will do it later on today but it's good to know that a new firmware is out.
- tcmathewsAug 19, 2020StarI can also confirm new firmware pushed to CM1200 on the Southeast coast. Setup aggregation this AM. Will confirm fix in 24hrs.
