Re: CM1200 to Rax200 WAN aggregation slows down (requires reboot)
@NVRSAWM3CMNG, I’m curious: is Comcast your ISP? Do you have IPv6 enabled on your router?
Thank you.

Re: CM1200 to Rax200 WAN aggregation slows down (requires reboot)
I have both IPV6 and I have Comcast as my provider. My modem has been solid on connection, no reboots thus far. I am seeing some flucuation in speeds though. I average about 948Mbps Down usually with an upstream of 42Mbps. I am seeing speeds now from 583-804Mbps downstream. Upstream doesnt seem to be affected at the moment.

Re: CM1200 to Rax200 WAN aggregation slows down (requires reboot)
+ Points to @tcmathews for getting someones attention at Comcast and getting this update rolled out! I got the update and my skepticism about such a large version jump was for nothing, because it is now V2.02.05 as of 2am ET. I have done nothing to modem nor router since update and have not tested LAG but everything appears exactly the same as before with the same errors in the logs but nothing broken.
I do not have the recently asked about "REG-RSP-MP" error and only the more typical "unrecognized OID;" and "No Ranging Response received - T3 time-out" and "SYNC Timing Synchronization failure".
I have comcast 1GB plan and get the same average (not accounting the pandemic performance impact that happens during biz hours these days) as the previous post of 948Mbps Down, 42Mbps Up.
Will test LAG when wife is not using the internet.

@tcmathews, were the speed statistics you shared in your prior post (message #103) obtained with link aggregation enabled?

Re: CM1200 to Rax200 WAN aggregation slows down (requires reboot)
948Mbps Down usually with an upstream of 42Mbps prior to link aggregation. I am seeing speeds now from 583-804Mbps downstream. Upstream doesnt seem to be affected at the moment with link aggregation turned on since this morning around 6am EST. My power levels look good, but I know comcast has been tracing down FM noise in the node I am on from somewhere and not sur eif that has been truly resolved to date. My contact is still working on it though.

Re: CM1200 to Rax200 WAN aggregation slows down (requires reboot)
I would assume the stats were with WAG on! if it fell to 1/2 speed some of the time after 10 hours then it looks like issue might not be solved but it still needs a lot of work. I don't have 1gb service, but I do have 300mb service and I get around 350+ about 80% of the time. Also it's always above 300 mb. It's very constant even thought severs are different. When I had WAG turned on it would fall after 15 to 20 hours of use. I wounder what the fix was and weather it will disconnect/ connect once a day or when speed drops?
i believe I will be getting a AUS RT-AX89X. It has dual 10G ports (10Gbase-T, 10G SFP+). The reviews have been good.

Re: CM1200 to Rax200 WAN aggregation slows down (requires reboot)
With the new firmware and LACP reconfigured on my CM1200 I am measuring between 1149 to 1201 Mb down and 41 Mb up over four hours. When I last tested with LACP 11 months ago I typically saw degradation within two hours. The CM1200 is connected to a Netgear XS716T switch. ISP service is Comcast/Xfinity Gigabit service.

I factory reset my modem, disabling the WAG and speeds are now back up to the following. So from initial tests, it's better, but the issue isnt resolved entirely. I am forwarding my test results to my contact with comcast and my logs.

Re: CM1200 to Rax200 WAN aggregation slows down (requires reboot)
FYI: CM1200 firmware V2.02.05 appears to solve the link aggregation problem when using a RAX120 router, according to this thread (message #121).

Re: CM1200 to Rax200 WAN aggregation slows down (requires reboot)
Does any body know if LACP has been fixed on CM1150V with RAX120 as the router?
My version currently is v2.02.04 on CM1150v...

Re: CM1200 to Rax200 WAN aggregation slows down (requires reboot)
Checkout the following link for your question:
I have my port aggregation turned off on CM1200 and just using the Internet port on RAX120. Just didn't want any link aggregation while troubleshooting the Cm1200 modem connectivity issue.

Re: CM1200 to Rax200 WAN aggregation slows down (requires reboot)
Still roubleshooting the issue (3 months now). Don't use Link Aggregation basically changed everything (coax cable, ethernet cable, etc.etc.)
However, I did notice the firmware on CM1200 (Comcast) got upgraded to V3.02.01 this morning. Looking for release notes for V3.02.01 and not published on NetGear yet.

It won't be. Netgear cannot publish firmware for CMXXXX devices because cable ISPs don't allow it.
If your firmware is outdated, you cannot manually upgrade your cable modem’s or modem router’s firmware. You must contact your Internet service provider (ISP) to upgrade your firmware.

Re: CM1200 to Rax200 WAN aggregation slows down (requires reboot)
That is correct, firmware is pushed by ISP. However Netgear has a page which points to a Netgear knowledge base on CM1200 firmware:
https://www.netgear.com/support/product/cm1200.aspx#download
The Netgear knowledge base shows the Comcast deployed firmware for CM1200 product (and other netgear products and service providers):
Knowlege base's last update is 9/22 and still shows the old firmware.

Re: CM1200 to Rax200 WAN aggregation slows down (requires reboot)
FYI. My home system is CM1150V and Orbi Wifi 6. ISP is Comcast. I have had the same problem of slowing with WAN aggregation. Comast finally pushed a new firmware this week,

Re: CM1200 to Rax200 WAN aggregation slows down (requires reboot)
It is now over 36 hours and still no slow down with WAN aggregation enabled. I can cautiously conclude the recent firmware pushed from Comcast to my CM1150V modem has fixed the problem.
