Can you use Nighthawk router as a extender?
Hi guys. I just wonder if you can buy multiple Nighthawk Router and use one of it as router and the others as extenders.
Frankly I've not used any recent model for netgear. But some other brand routers work as a router if you plug it into WAN port but also work as extender if you plug the cable into other ethernet cables. So I just wonder if netgear nighthwaks work same ways.
I'm about to purchase one RAX40 as main router and buy some used RAX15 as extenders.
Let me know if any of you have an experience using devices like this case. Thanks

Hello steelblade,
You may use your existing RAX40 router with the RAX15. You will need to set the RAX15 into access point mode to accomplish this.
