Connection fails to maintain auto-login and periodic loss of connection
I'm running Win 11 and set my wi-fi to login automatically to my chosen network. Recently, the auto-login stopped working and I must select my network and login manually every time I start up. Also, my network connection drops randomly every now and then. This issue started recently, so I think that I accidentally changed some router or windows setting. However, it happens only on my PC and not on my other devices.

Re: Connection fails to maintain auto-login and periodic loss of connection
I know it's likely a Windows issue, but can you guide me to where the problem lies? Note that in happens only on the 2.4 Ghz band. The 5.4 is fine. Could that indicate a router issue?

There's not much on the router that can affect what the PC sees and does. That is down to the receiver. What hardware on the PC handles the wifi? Is it up to dated with drivers?
Have you tried playing with the wifi bands that your RAX50 broadcasts on?
Any sign of local wifi interference from the neighbours?

Re: Connection fails to maintain auto-login and periodic loss of connection
Thanks. Windows only allows one network to be checkedmarked. So, I had checked the 2.4 band. Later, I checked the 5.4 band. to test that connection. When I go to log back in to the 2.4, it shows a message under the password box of "Some information changed since the last time you connected. We need additional information to complete the connection." Perhaps that simply means it needs my password; I don't know, but the 5.4 doesn't require anything further.

I think you nailed it. Network is still working as it should.
