Re: Firmware 1.2.9.52 keeps freezing every other day

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6A STP is recommended.

Are you using the yellow WAN port or the Multi-Gig port for the connection between the router and your modem/ONT?

What all do you have connected to the router?

How many devices are connected at one time?

Does any of the top LEDS turn AMBER when this happens?

Does the top of the router feel extra warm or hot when this happens?

Might try a Factory reset and setup from scratch as well if this continues.

Recommend setting the default DHCP IP address pool range to the following after applying and a factory reset: 192.168.#.100 to 192.168.#.200.

Or use the ERASE button on the routers web page to factory reset the router:

Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.

Try enabling IPv6 (auto) and Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only. Save settings and reboot the router and satellite(s). Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings

I've had my RAX120v2 online for past week. Have not seen any any freezing or hangs since putting it online. I did factory reset mine after applying the v.52 version of FW and setup from scratch.

Re: Firmware 1.2.9.52 keeps freezing every other day

-Confess my unit was bricked during a previous fw update due to power shortage but I manage to get it running with instructions on YouTube. No issues after that until this fw. No issues to perform update latest fw during but after this fw update problems occurred. I have reinstalled the latest fw again without improvement.

Are you using the yellow WAN port or the Multi-Gig port for the connection between the router and your modem/ONT?
-using the yellow port for Internet from ONT
What all do you have connected to the router?

Does any of the top LEDS turn AMBER when this happens?

- will check
Does the top of the router feel extra warm or hot when this happens?
- Hot for sure but hotter I difficult to determine, 2 hrs after boot CPU 34%, Memory used 421MB/869MB, Flash usage 233/151MB, Yesterday when I checked the CPU load was 75% some hrs before ”issues” This "issues" might be heat/load issue!?

Might try a Factory reset and setup from scratch as well if this continues.
- Will try

Please give feedback when you can.

CAT6 UTP Would be recommended since your using the yellow WAN port.

Model # of these switches please.

- EAX80 Nighthawk AX6000 connected with Ethernet as in Access Point Mode with identical SSID and pw. Latest FW V1.0.1.70_1.0.2

Might turn this OFF and test with out the EAX 80 online to see if problems still are seen with this version of FW.

Thats a fair amount for sure...

Please.

Yes, if the CPU is getting this high, something maybe failing or causing the higher load to go up.

There is a Fan check feature in the debug page, please check this and enable the internal fan.

Might try a Factory reset and setup from scratch as well if this continues.
- Will try

Please let us know the results. Just reset and setup from scratch and don't use the EAX80 for now.

Enable the internal fan as well and please keep track of the CPU and memory usage.

Can you reduce the amount of devices connected if possible with leaving only most important and critical devices connected to see if the CPU load goes up after watching and tracking it?
