Going offline every night
I recently started having the exact same problem. I was using older firmware, and it just started happening. I managed to upgrade to v1.1.3 and that didn't help but it fixed other other problems.
I now have v1.1.4 installed and I cannot get into my control panel. The router does not go off-line anymore in the middle of the night. I did have to install the latest firmware by directly connecting a computer to the router and doing the install manually.
The system works great. I just can't get into the control panel anymore. It says access denied.

Re: Going offline every night
What model router is this?
Sounds like a factory reset and setup from scratch with out loading a backup configuration from file is needed here.

Re: Going offline every night
its a RAX5400v2... the unit is working but its a brick. I have a lot of IP address I need to re-enter... if I truly need to factory reset the unit. I will throw it in the trash and buy something else if I have to start over.
The firmware screwed me and Netgear want a $99 subscription to fix THEIR problem

Re: Going offline every night
You should have on hand back up configuration files to help avoid wasting time on setting up IF and WHEN factory resets are needed. Which this will be needed.
Good Luck.
