How to connect laptops to use only 5.1ghz and mobiles to 2.4ghz

I have been setting up the Nighthawk R8000 router. I need to split the traffic. so i was wondering how can we setup only mobiles to use 2.4GHZ and laptops to use 5.1GHZ, also when I turned on to act as WPS i was unable to login in to admin page.

Use different SSIDs for each band and turn off Smart Connect?

Why? There may be other ways of achieving what you want without having to mess around with WiFi settings.
