IS the raxe500 officially supported by Comcast Xfinity in the US?
Hello.
I am interested in purchasing the NETGEAR raxe500
https://www.netgear.com/home/wifi/routers/raxe500/
in the US. I currently use Comcast Xfinity for internert acess with ARRIS wifi modem/router that I own (do not rent wifi modem/router from Comcast Xfinity).
The ARRIS wifi modem/router is officially supported by Comcast Xfinity and works fine.
I want to upgrade to the NETGEAR raxe500.
My question
Is the Netgear raxe500 officially supported by Comcast Xfinity in the US?
That official support is usually listed on the product page or product documentation.
I don't see it and can't find it.
Can someone from Netgear confirm that the Netgear raxe500 officially supported by Comcast Xfinity in the US?
Thank you:
Jeffry

I wouldn't expect it to be; it's a _router_, not a modem or a
modem+router. The ISP's interest generally ends at the modem. Any
router after that is all your fault.

Have you ever seen such a support statement for a (modemless) router?

Modems are the only thing that Comcast Xfinity has control over. Routers aren't regulated or controlled by internet service providers at all.
They are only interested in the modem device where their coaxial cable connection interfaces with it to deliver internet. Anything else in your house after that cable/modem connection, they have no control over because it is your house.
