Making a WDNR3700 an WiFi Extender
Hello,
I currently have a NIghthawk X6 router i've been using for a few years. This replaced my WNDR3700. I have poor to limited wifi in a section of my house and was going to use the WNDR as an extender. However, i don't know how to go about it. Can anyone direct me to step by step instructions so i don't mess up my current Nighthawk settings?
Thank you,
Frank

Re: Making a WDNR3700 an WiFi Extender
The WNDR3700 doesn't have a repeater mode. You'd want to hardwire it in either through powerline, moca adapter (ethernet over coax), or using a ethernet cable. Then you'd simple put it in access point mode.
or you could get a wireless repeater/extender.
