NETGEAR Nighthawk WiFi 6 Router (RAX120) not enough range
I have a RAX120 setup that used to work in my old 2 story home. We moved to a one story with the same square footage and I’m having issues with the range of the 5G network.
Would you please assist me in some solutions? Can I pick up another one and use it as a pass through? An extender? Or swap it out for a mesh system?
Thank you in advance.

Re: NETGEAR Nighthawk WiFi 6 Router (RAX120) not enough range
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.
What is the size of your home and prior home? Sq Ft?
Building materials?
What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?
Depending on home size, you may want to look into a EAX series extender. EAX80 comes to mind.
