Netgear AX12 Unable to register Product Serial No.
Hi I just bought a brand new AX12 router, but i am unable to register the serial no. It keeps saying it is already registered to someone else. I purchased it sealed brand new. Please help.

You can check the status here https://www.netgear.com/mynetgear/registration/Product_WarrantyCheck.aspx
that will give information when it was registered
Also I would say look at the article and submit the issue with netgear section
"I am having trouble registering at or logging into my.netgear.com..."
And be sure to send proof of purchase that will speed you're process up with this matter

If your product does not have a serial number, it has been refurbished. The serial number is not required to register your product. Send email to customer.service@netgear.com with:

Visver, the serial number of the RAX120 is on an adhesive label on the router itself, as well as on the box in which the router was packaged. Is the serial number the same in both locations?

I have the serial no. i purchased it brand new on ebay, and i am not sure if netgear will honor ebay email as proof of pruchase, is there a way to connect with some live to resolve this registration issue. I sent an email 10 days back and no one has resplied yet.

Ya u might have An issue with netgear buying off eBay they consider that not a auth reseller . I'll file with eBay did you get protection on this ?

It can register but you will lose the warranty that's the issue I had I'm getting rid of it

I recently bought a Netgear modem off eBay. (It is no longer available from the usual sources.) I had no trouble adding it to my kit on MyNetgear.
