Faster internet is not the same as faster wifi. That is down to the wifi clients. That's one reason why @microchip8 asked for more details.
I chip in only to suggest that with a "new" Internet service you may like to reset the Internet settings in the router.
If you are introducing a router to a new modem, you need to get the router to connect to the new ISP service by entering the login details for the new service.
If you don't want to wipe out all the settings on the router, such as the wifi SSID and password, you can use a web browser and the graphical user interface (GUI) and tell the router to run the Internet Setup Wizard.
For more details, check the manual for your device.

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.
Look for the model number on the label on the device.
