Nighthawk AK6 AX5400 6-Stream Power LED Blinking Blue Rapidly
The power went out on my home Nighthawk AK6 AX5400 6-Stream Router and when power came back up the power LED Started blinking blue rapidly. The light comes on right away with no amber light before it. It starts blinking blue right away and does not progress to any other lights. I watched it for over 30 minutes but still no progress or wifi connection. I tried updating the firmware but I am never able to get the amber light to come up before installing the update.
Anyone else run into this before? I don't find any other posts on this particular issue. This has been tested by connecting to the cable modem and stand alone with the same results.

With the router disconnected from the modem and all other devices, what happens if you press the reset button for 15 seconds then release? Give about 1 minute then see if you can connect to the routers web page with a wired PC at 192.168.1.1?
What model RAX is this router?

Yes I have tried the factory reset a few times with no luck.

Ok. Last resort is a 30-30-30 reset with nothing connected to the router.

Ok tried that but can't get passed the light blinking. It doesn't react at all when I press the reset button. Am I just out of luck?

Seems like it. If you can't get the top LEDs to come ON or access the routers web page after, contact NG support to see what your options are:
