Manually using the browser graphical user interface (GUI).
It might help if you said which router you bought.
AX2400 is not a reliable guide to model number. Several devices come with an AX tag, but it is essentially a label that Netgear, and other brands, attach to hardware to describe wifi speeds.
Look at the label on the device for the model number. RAX30? RAX29?
Then:
How do I install my NETGEAR router using the router web interface? | Answer | NETGEAR Support
Or, visit the support pages:
Support | NETGEAR
Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.
Begin with the Quick Start/Installation Guide.
Check the section in the manual Use a web browser to access the router.
There may also be some helpful videos on what to do.
You may have done that already. I can't tell from your message.
I mention it because Netgear gave up on supplying paper manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.

Re: Nighthawk AX2400 Router
when you first try to install using the browser it'll say something along the lines of "netgear recommends using the app.....blahblahblah". If you scroll to the bottom of the screen, there's a link to saying something along the lines of "i don't have a smart phone". Click on that and it'll take you through the install process using the browser.
