You can try recovering it via tftp.
are you on windows? if so, follow this guide

just make sure you enable tftp

This seems to have worked! Thank you.
One item of note -- when actually running the command to push the firmware from my PC to the router, the request hung for a few minutes and then said something about failing, but then the router lights changed to white and started blinking. I'm assuming it worked, because the router seems to be working for now.
