Nighthawk RAX43 experiencing issues with 5G - drops in and out
My 5Ghz WiFi seems to fall out sporadically and then is unable to be connected to for a period of time before returning to normal and being able to be connected to again.
I have tried resetting the router, tried changing the channel from 36 to 40 as well as 44. It is on the latest firmware (V1.0.12.120_2.0.83) and the 2.4Ghz and ethernet seem to be mostly unafftected. But the 5Ghz remains unreliable.
Just some notes that may or may not be related:
- I just added a new iPhone 13 to the network
- New neighbours have just moved into the adjcent apartment
From what I can gather from other discussions this may be a firmware issue?
Would love to hear people's thoughts.

Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?
Try using higher channels on 5Ghz? 149 thru 161?
Also try turning down the power output of the RBRs wifi radios from 100% to 50% or 25% and see if this changes anything. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
