Port #5, can it be used for my Fing device?
Can I connect my Fing device to port #5 on my RAX200 router even though it says it's a multi-gig 2.5g/1G port? Otherwise, what is it there for? PLease let me know.

Re: Port #5, can it be used for my Fing device?
The multi-gig ports will work with any Ethernet device including really old 100Mbps and lower devices, though ideally it should be used with multi-gig capable devices so that they get higher speeds. For example, the USB storage on the RAX200 can do well over 150MB/s transfer rates, but a 1GbE device will only get a little under 120MB/s at best from it.
If none oof your Ethernet based devices support over 1GbE then it doesn't matter overall, but if any of your devicessupport it, then move it over to the multi-gig port and then connect your other device to one of the freed up 1GbE ports.
