R6700AX set up with Deco Access Points
So I'm really new at this and recently retired. Now I have a new BGW320-505 that I connected my Deco M5 to via ethernet cable and (2) W2400 Deco nodes via wireless. I used the same network name and password from my BGW320. The Deco network is in Access Point mode.
Now I'm ready to setup the router. I have my BGW set in IP Passthrough. Do I need to use the same SSID and password when I connect the router to it?
I'll appreciate any help I can get. . .KM_Treetop

Re: R6700AX set up with Deco Access Points
With the Deco system in AP mode, your ISP modem already has a router built in, why not use the ISP router for handling everything else? The R series router isn't really needed.
