Without the hard reset I had the same result-did a hard reset and configured from scratch (no config file used from a backup) and all is good with NTP-the router selected the correct timezone (CDT in my case) with adjustment for daylight savings time auto selected.

Re: RAX 200 New Firmware Update 1.0.2.102_1.0.56
I haven't done a factory reset but after installing this firmware, my NTP time is the international date line. I have tried setting it to my local time zone, eastern time with daylight savings checked and reboot each time. It reverts back to the international date line and won't keep my selected time zone.

Re: RAX 200 New Firmware Update 1.0.2.102_1.0.56
I'm continuing to have issues with the connection dropping. Restarts only fix the issue for a few days before happening again. Support is having me disable AX and change my MTU size. I fail to see how this will help the router stay connected when bot my wireless and wired connections are dropped. The router itself says there is no longer a connection.
I would not recommend this router to anyone for purchase at this time.

Re: RAX 200 New Firmware Update 1.0.2.102_1.0.56
I have major issues with my RAX200/12 router. I have three Macbooks, Air 2019, Air 2020 and 16" 2019. The 16" works perfectly fine with my router but BOTH Airs literally takes an hour every morning before they get a stable connection. During that hour they constantly connects and disconnect (when they are connected, the signal is full). After an hour their connection is stable for the rest of the day.
Both Airs work fine with all other networks I connect them.
I have similar problems with my phone and my iPad. The phone's (Android) connection is quite stable but regularly drops for a few seconds. On the iPad I must manually connect and then it stays connected for a few minutes/until I put it away - and then when use it again I have to manually connect.
I also have three brand new D-LINK surveillance cameras (DCS 8300), They flat out refuse to connect, forcing me to create an unencrypted network.
Finally, every time I restart the router it is factory reset. WTF!?
The support suggested I should downgrade the router to a previous version of the FW but couldn't explain why.
At the moment, this router is horrible.

Re: RAX 200 New Firmware Update 1.0.2.102_1.0.56
NTP is broken once again in firmware V1.0.3.102_1.0.56. I will try to revert to the 1.0.2.102 version to see if it works. Why can't they get this right? This bug kees bringing down my network and it's seriously interfering with my work.

Re: RAX 200 New Firmware Update 1.0.2.102_1.0.56
Firmware 1.0.2.102_1.0.56 for the RAX 200 is not the latest.
The latest can be found here:
https://kb.netgear.com/000062470/RAX200-Firmware-Version-1-0-3-102
After flashing your router please do a hard reset and install without using any saved configs (like it just came out of the box).
