RAX 78 does not acknowledge internet without a switch
My RAX 78 does not acknowledge the internet coming in directly from fiber. Right now I can only get it to work by having the line come in to a 10/100 switch, and then to the RAX 78. Then it sees the internet and accepts it. If I remove the switch the internet light goes out even though the switch just said there was internet. Help?

Re: RAX 78 does not acknowledge internet without a switch
You'll need to contact your ISP and ask them if there are any requirements they may have in regards to what may or may not be needed to connect the RAX directly to there ONT.
I would use a 1000Mpbs switch instead.

Re: RAX 78 does not acknowledge internet without a switch
have you tried replacing the cable between the 2x devices? I've seen sketchy cables work with 10/100mbps but not with gigabit connections.
What ONT do you have?
