RAX10 - I have a reset question.....
My router is connected to fiber. Ziply to be exact. I use the wifi for two laptops and a linux desktop. The only other connection is my Roku. I never changed anything regarding security. First I would like to know if resetting the router will affect my Roku? Secondly I would like to know what I should do to be safe.
I am not a communications person so try and keep the discussion to a low level.
Thanks a bunch
John

Re: RAX10 - I have a reset question.....
Is there a problem that you need to factory reset?
Might give more details regarding if there is a problem.
Might try a full power OFF of the router for 1 minute then back ON as a simple first step to check for something.

I don't have any problems just wanted to reset password and anything else to make the router safe. Don't want to screw up my Roku connection.

What makes you think that you are unsafe?
I never changed anything regarding security.
Changing passwords is the only thing that can affect security.
One password manages access to the browser graphical user interface (GUI).
The default GUI password (password) is on the router.
Then there are the wifi passwords:

Possibly. Don't do it unless you have to.
