RAX120 5Gb port slowed down to 1Gb recently
I had setup the 5Gb port to connect to my 10Gb Synology so that I can transfer a file thru wifi from my computer to the RAX120 and then it's wired from the 5Gb port to the 10Gb port of the Synology.
I was able to achieve real good speeds until recently when the speed slowed down to 50MB.
The router is in AP mode.
I restarted the router and updated the latest firmware, then I put it in router mode, went to the internet setting for the WAN port and selected 5Gb and then put back in AP mode.
Still 50-60MB.
Anyone dealt with this recently?

Re: RAX120 5Gb port slowed down to 1Gb recently
Do you have a different device that you can test with?
Does NOT setting the WAN port in router mode before changing to AP mode change the behavior?
What CAT# lan cable are you using? CAT6A STP is recommended here.

CAT6A from RAX120 to Synology, this happened recently and no changes were made to neither settings nor wiring etc

I would test a different device on this to compare.
Try a full on factory reset, power OFF for 1 min, then back ON. Power OFF NAS as well then back ON. Set up the router from scratch and see if this changes anything.

Re: RAX120 5Gb port slowed down to 1Gb recently
I have tried all the steps from the previous post and it's still capped, I reset the router to factory and connected it straight from 5Gb to 10Gb of Synology. Same issue.
I don't have another 10Gb device I can test the router with.
In the Network settings the Synology NAS sees the router 5Gb port as "5000 Mbps, Full duplex, MTU 1500"

Re: RAX120 5Gb port slowed down to 1Gb recently
I just plugged a USB3 SSD drive to the RAX120 and tested the speed, it capped at 50MB, is there a setting somewhere that caps the speed per user? That's the only thing I can think of.
I factory resetted it and I'm standing right in front of it.

Re: RAX120 5Gb port slowed down to 1Gb recently
I've tried several setting changes but I'm still topping 60MB/s
Is there an app or another test I can run?

Might try iPerf.
Also might try this as well:

Can you test the RAX in router mode instead of AP mode for comparison and see if the speed changes on router mode?

OK. I passed this on to NG for review. You might want to open a support ticket with NG as well:
