I received a message from Netgear on 2019-06-13 at 1:33pm EDT yesterday with details about new firmware. Separately opened a new web browser tab and navigated directly to www.netgear.com as I go directly to the source and make a practice of avoiding links in Email just to be safe. And, yes indeed, displayed is a new firmware update. Unfortunately both the links to the KB article as well as the download link are not found. "Good old" HTTP-404 status not found. It looks like someone forgot to actually post the contents even though the message was sent out to customers.
Links for reference:
Firmware Version 1.0.1.86 Download (currently http 404 not found)
http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/RAX120/RAX120-V1.0.1.86.zip
Release Notes (also currently http 404 not found)
http://kb.netgear.com/000061013
Interesting note, the actual download mainpage for Netgear does not list new firmware for the RAX120.
https://www.netgear.com/support/download/
Attached is a screen print view from the main product support page.
https://www.netgear.com/support/product/RAX120.aspx
You see the links for "Firmware Version 1.0.1.86 Download" and "Release Notes" on the page. Both broken links.
Netgear, please have your web and file support teams add the files! Your mailer was Emailed to customers yesterday.
Thanks.

Re: RAX120 new firmware 1.0.1.86 link broken. Files missing. Unable to download update.
UPDATE: And they just rolled the page back to show the old firmware. Thankfully I have a screenshot of the updated page.
Can someone please tell the web team we received this Email message yesterday:

Update #2: It looks like bugs are being reported by others for the latest firmware. For now I will assume the firmware updates for the new RAX-series WiFi6 routers have been pulled to correct issues with them. Here's to hoping for updates to the security problems noted in other articles are remedied soon with fully functional firmware. Wait and see for now it seems.

Re: RAX120 new firmware 1.0.1.86 link broken. Files missing. Unable to download update.
It's creepy, not even google will admit there's a page at https://www.netgear.nl/support/product/rax120.aspx#download
That lists 1.01.86, but I made a screenshot.
But the actual link is dead, and I can't speak their language anyway.
So I wonder....why did they send us the urgent email? Was there some ominous thing we were supposed to fix?
Something about a bad-block resetting the router, do they only mean during a flash or does it happen during normal operation?
I am not good at guessing, but a few people reporting errors wouldn't make them erase websites, no.
I'm thinking they had a "you did WHAT???" moment and a bigwig project manager pulled it immediately rather than risk the wrath of the EU.

I did upgrade to 1.0.1.86 from within Router Log in page, Advance>Administration>Firmware and didn't have any problem with it or see any improvement over .84 either!!!
