RAX200 1.0.4.120 firmware
Just noticed that firmware 1.0.4.120 is available within the router settings but if i try to click on 'update' then i continously see
'GUI Language Update - downloading and updating the language table please wait for approximately 1 minute....'
and it seems to be stuck on this forever. Could someone from Netgear fix this bug please? The new firmware isn't available on the Netgear support page for the RAX200 yet, it only appears within the router settings 'router update' button.
Cheers

You realize this is the community support forum? Where members of the public help out?
We're not netgear and its rare to find a moderator on here.

At the time of posting this, v1.0.4.120 is no longer available. Weird.

Re: RAX200 1.0.4.120 firmware
Here's the master link that the RAX200 and Nighthawk app use to determine the latest firmware and language files and their download locations:
https://http.fw.updates1.netgear.com/rax200/ww/fileinfo.txt
Here's the master link that the RAX200 and Nighthawk app use to display the release notes of the firmware files:
https://http.fw.updates1.netgear.com/rax200/ww/stringtable.dat
Thus, the direct download link to firmware V1.0.4.120 is...
https://http.fw.updates1.netgear.com/rax200/ww/RAX200-V1.0.4.120_1.0.61.chk
... and the release notes are:
[New Features] Allows LAN devices to use HTTPS to access the router web interface.
[Bug Fixes] Removes EOL feature ReadySHARE Vault.
[Bug Fixes] Removes EOL feature OpenDNS.
[Bug Fixes] Removes EOL feature remote management.
[Bug Fixes] Improves stability.
[Security Fixes] This firmware addresses security vulnerabilities. For more information about security vulnerabilities, visit https://www.netgear.com/about/security.

Re: RAX200 1.0.4.120 firmware
Good experience so far for me on 1.0.4.120 after 60 hours. Router hasn't lost internet connection and all 50+ devices have remained connected.

Re: RAX200 1.0.4.120 firmware
I have carefully checked out this latest update and it proves to be very unstable. I have returned to the previous firmware update (
RAX200 Firmware Version 1.0.3.106 ) which is far more stable although it still has numerous bugs.
I wish NETGEAR would put truly first class firmware developers on this product and get the firmware completely functional.
There is no excuse for a company of this size to have so many problems developing error free firmware for this product.
The basic platform for this product is first class, but it is flawed with poorly developed firmware. Each firmware update introduces new problems while not correcting many of the previous problems. SAD!

Same problem for me when it tries to download and update language tables. Latest fw did install though. But vert annoying. Poor customer support.
