RAX200 - Ethernet Port - Red light
Hi,
I recently purchased a new router, the RAX200, and I'm extremely happy with its performance.
However, as of last night, the ethernet port keep on showing a red light instead of a steady white light. Is the router going bad?
Thanks.

Re: RAX200 - Ethernet Port - Red light
Which ethernet port?
1-5?
Wan port?
If its the 1-5 port, it indicates a 10/100mbps connection and not gigabit.

Re: RAX200 - Ethernet Port - Red light - follow up
Hi Plemans,
Thank you for your response.
So the ETHERNET port I was referring to is the YELLOW RJ45 port that the router uses to connect to the ISP modem.
Thanks for all your help 🙂

What ISP modem is it? (model)
Have you checked the cable? I've seen sketchy cables cause issues.
Make sure its a cat 5e or better cable and decent quality

RAX200 - Ethernet Port - Red light - The never ending saga ;)
Hi Plemans,
The Spectrum Modem is a DOCSIS 3.1 cable modem - 3.1 E31N2V1 Hitron.
Also, ethernet cable looks good, decent quality - Cat 7... Been using it for a few months, no problem.
Thanks 🙂
