RAX35-HP 9018 WIFI SETUP
I am trying to setup my HP Printer 9018 to the RAX35 and the printer cannot see the regular SSID (neither 2 or 5Ghz) I enabled the Guest network and the printer found the Guest. I turned on the old router and the printer can find those SSID's (both the 2 and 5ghz channels) to troubleshoot. Is there a setting somewhere that I can turn on in the router to allow access to the main SSID names?
Thanks

Re: RAX35-HP 9018 WIFI SETUP
I forgot to add that all my other devices (phone, laptop apple tv etc) are connected to the regular SSID.

Re: RAX35-HP 9018 WIFI SETUP
Kristhlubik, I had a similar situation with a HP wireless printer. The following thoughts may be helpful….
[1] On the printer's setup wizard screen for the network, check if there exists an option labeled “other network” (or something similar) among the list of network names (SSIDs) displayed. Selecting that option will allow you to manually enter the desired network name and password, even if it is not otherwise displayed.
[2] Alternatively, open the HP EWS (Embedded Web Server) in your browser to configure the printer’s network settings. (Please see your printer’s User Guide for instructions on accessing EWS.)
[3] Finally, you may find it helpful to reserve a static IP address for your printer (see “Manage reserved LAN IP addresses” in your router’s User Manual). Doing so allows you to more easily access the EWS, and may also help to ensure that the printer connects to the network and other devices connect to the printer (e.g., the HP Smart mobile phone app).
