Re: RAX35
Agree with @microchip8 . its tough to help when you don't tell us much.
1. What wireless chipset is in the inspiron? intel devices have had issues with early drivers. If you've got an intel wireless card, go to the intel site to get the most recent version. Not windows update.
2. What firmware is on your router?
3. What modem do you have?
4. What actual error/problem is it giving you? does it see the wireless and doesn't connect? does it not see wireless at all? what exactly os going on?
the more details/info you provide to us, the better help we can give you. When you give us minimal info, its difficult if not impossible to help.
You can go to netgear.com/support/ and type in your model. It'll give you the manual, firmware, troubleshooting, etc to help

Re: RAX35
Agree with above. One thing comes to mind you could try since this is an AX router. Go into config and turn AX off and see if it works then. If so you know there is an issue between the laptop and the router when AX is enabled.

Re: RAX35
what wireless chipset is in your dell laptop? Some of the early drivers from intel struggled with AX.
its gotten better with intels driver updates. Problem is that those drivers don't get updated through microsoft update very fast and so wireless drivers tend to be out of date. If you've got an intel wireless card in your dell, get the most recent directly from intel.
