RAX43 just factory reset overnight on its own
Does anyone know how / why this happens? I saw another post from a few months back were something similar occurred
"COINCIDENCE" is that yesterday was the same exact date my technical support expired.

Re: RAX43 just factory reset overnight on its own
Maybe the firmware updated or a power surge triggered it.
Should just be able to run back through setup and be fine.
a backup might be nice for next time (if there is one)
Current setup: CM2000-> RBKE963B-> Trendnet TEG-S380-> GS716T-> pi-hole
also in AP setup: RAXE500->EAX80
1.4gig download/50mbps upload from Xfinity

Yes - I fixed it but that's not the point! I want to know why it happened.
A power surge should in no way cause a factory reset! I don't think I believe that.
And a firmware update shouldn't crap out all your settings without warning. That is a bad design
