Im just wondering if anyone has tried the latest FW update for the RAX50?

Works fine on a RAX43. Same version.

Hot fixes don't generally contain much changes and are usually pretty safe to use.

Current setup: CM2000-> RBKE963B-> Trendnet TEG-S380-> GS716T-> pi-hole
also in AP setup: RAXE500->EAX80
