RAX70. Changing to 10.0.0.1
Router set to 10.0.0.1. Went into advanced settings and checked off router mode several times and saved config. Rebooted and still 10.0.0.1. Had no choice but to hit the reset and start over…. This day 2 of installing the router.

Why not just use access point mode if you're wanting dhcp disabled?

A sign that the RAX70 is behind another router and the setup process is trying to avoid problems.

Re: RAX70. Changing to 10.0.0.1
1. we're not netgear.
2. if you're disabling dhcp and don't have another router connected, of course you're going to have issues. A modem only device needs a router connected thats handling dhcp/nat. If you're disabling that, what result do you think you'll get?

Not running behind another router. Is connected directly to cable modem that has no router capabilities.
So why are you trying to disable the router bit of the RAX70?
What do you expect to carry out that function for you you on your network?
What is this anonymous cable modem?
And, as I suggested before:
