RAX75 - Disconnects
Hello, I have a RAX75 Nighthawk Router that I bought from Costco. I have loaded the latest firmware ( 1.0.4.120_1.0.61)
This router continually shuts down for unknown reasons, then after I unplug it for a few minutes then reset it and the modem it works again. This is very frustrating as I have a few devices that depend on the WiFi and when I travel. It becomes quite a problem. Very non-dependable. I have noticed that is seems warm to the touch, but is in a well ventilated area. Does anyone have a suggestion other than replace it? It was expensive and I now have regrets about Netgear.

Re: RAX75 - Disconnects
After the firmware upgrade, did you ever try a factory reset and reinstall?
These AX devices are getting underying updates for even their own wifi chipsets. Sometims a factory reset helps.
And if it doesn't, then I'd try downgrading the firmware a version. Maybe the update introduced a bug

Re: RAX75 - Disconnects
Yes - Reset it to factory then updated firmware. It is essential at the house and I couldn’t deal with the disconnects. I sent it to the electronic graveyard and bought the Orbi Mesh network and all is well. The Orbi doesn’t overheat or even get warm. The nighthawk ran really hot. Thanks for the advice.
