Re: RAX78/70 Firmware 1.0.14.134: Not on Netgear download site?

Hello,

I recently accessed my RAX78 and it asked to update the firmware. I did so and it installed firmware 1.0.14.134. My router had to be rebooted this morning which is unusual behavior and I went to see if there were any comments on this firmware. It's not listed on the Netgear download site! The latest listed firmware is 1.0.13.128. I don't understand how I could have a newer firmware than is listed. Can anyone help me understand this? Should I "downgrade" to the version on the website?

This just happened on my RAX70, but I haven't upgraded yet.

Sometimes NG auto updates users units before posting FW files to the download site. NG takes a few days sometimes. If nothing major happens, I presume this next week it will get posted. Nothing to be worried about.

Looks like the support site is updated with a link to 1.0.14.134 -

It is disappointing to not have this available at least at the time or before the release. These updates normally take months & Netgear was obviously aware of the planned release far in advance.

To not have the support site updated is at best poor management.

That’s interesting. I spoke with Netgear customer support yesterday morning and let them know, but I suspect I didn’t really affect that.Goid to see it’s now current.
