RAX80 Wireless off
Have had this router for a few years and never have run into any issues until today. While trying to download a game on my Xbox it pause and said lost connection reconnect to Xbox. I noticed that my Ring chime was flashing meaning it was also offline. So I checked my router and modem both indicators said they were still connected to the internet so reset both to be sure that it wasn't a random issue. Once booted up I could still not connect to my Wi-Fi. I logged into the router and it says my Wireless in "off" but channels say on. Software is up to date. Reset to factory and Wi-Fi still shows off. Please Help

Re: RAX80 Wireless off
When you restarted the router, did you reboot the network in the required order?
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
- Turn off and unplug modem.
- Turn off router and computers.
- Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
- Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
- Turn on computers and rest of network.
What firmware version do you have on the device?
A number is more useful than "the latest". (It may not be by the time people read this.) There can also be newer versions, or "hot fixes", that do not show up if you check for new firmware in the browser interface.
It might also help if you told people what the modem is in front of this router, if there is one. The make and model number could be useful. Is it, by any chance, also a router, with a set of LAN ports on the back?
The reason for asking is that a lot of people turn up here trying to put a router behind a modem that is also a router. That can complicate troubleshooting.

Re: RAX80 Wireless off
You seem to have checked everything. Maybe it just died.
One thing that has been known to rescue ailing routers in the past, albeit rarely, is to reflash them with the latest firmware.
This is a fix for firmware damage that is not severe enough to kill the thing completely.

Any suggestions on a new router haha? Approximately 30 device's connected.
Depends on what you need.
I like the MK mesh routers. Bit more capable than Orbis. But they do seem to come only in bundles with satellites. If you don't need to spread the wifi, that could be overkill.

Re: RAX80 Wireless off
With the router disconnected from the ISP modem, powered ON, what happens if you press the reset button in back for 10 seconds then release. Do any of the WIFI LEDs turn ON on the router? Walk thru the setup wizard with a wired PC and web browser. Select manual setup option.
Can you get to the home screen after the setup completes and does the wifi icon on the home page still how OFF or enabled?

That's what I'm kind of thinking. Idk what else could be wrong. I was hoping a factory reset would have fixed it. I'll try a reflash and see if that does anything. Any suggestions on a new router haha? Approximately 30 device's connected.

Re: RAX80 Wireless off
I have seen routers require several firmware default resets before it actually takes. No harm in trying.
With the router powered on and nothing connected to the router except the power cord, push the manual firmware default reset on the back of the device. When it boots after the reset, let it run for ten or fifteen minutes. Pull the power cord, restart and repeat the process. If you can see an SSID broadcast you know you have been successful. If no success after several repeats, declare it officially dead!
