RAXE300 and RAXE500 internet lights
Know if the internet light flashes when there is traffic flowing. Also does the WiFi and Ethernet lights flash the same way? I have the RAX70 which does this but don’t want to buy one and find out that it doesn’t
Thanks

Re: RAXE300 and RAXE500 internet lights
why are you wanting this feature?
Thats what I'm curious about?
I generally don't choose a router based on whether a led blinks or not. Especially when they're different specs, performance, and price.

Re: RAXE300 and RAXE500 internet lights
I’ve found that link useful, RAXE500 doesn’t blink when traffic passes
Just now need to find how RAXE300 behaves
I want to find out as I want to know if my connection is getting pinged and also I’m used to this feature as previous routers had this
Thanks again

Re: RAXE300 and RAXE500 internet lights
Recent FW update has a few items missing or broke. NG has been made aware of it and said to put a fix forth in next FW update. I've enjoyed mine and works well. Have to find what works best for your needs and such. Always recommend trying something out and if it's doesn't work, return it. Find good places that have good refund policies. Like amazon.
Good Luck.

Very helpful that the router works well. Could you tell me if the internet light flashed before, and does it still flash with the recent firmware
Thanks again

Re: RAXE300 and RAXE500 internet lights
Internet LED doesn't blink.
No idea why different models have differences. Most of the time I guess, not really needed, As long as the color is WHITE and your seeing GOOD status on the routers web page, seems to be enough. I know some people are visual. I am but, also, I'm not looking at the router all the time so, as long as it's working, I'm good. 😉

We are talking about the RAXE300?
Did it ever flash on previous firmwares?

Re: RAXE300 and RAXE500 internet lights
RAXE500. RAXE300 should same as it should same code base.
I could have. I've only had my RAXE500 for about 2 years.
Something you could do, install a small non managed Gb switch in between the host ISP service device and the RAX router. Don't connect anything else do this switch accept the ISP modem and the RAXE router. Then you'd have some LED indication. Could install a semi managed or managed switch here and let the switch help log any oddities or network traffic issues if you really wanna dive in.
