RAXE300 not connecting wifi 6
I have a new laptop with a Realtek RTL8852BE-VS WiFi 6 802.ax card in it. I am using Windows 11 Home and all NIC and Windows updates are current.
No matter what settings I use for WiFi 6 the router refuses the connection. Windows can see the network and after putting in the password it say "cannot connect to this network" The password is correct.
Why?

Re: RAXE300 not connecting wifi 6
1. What actual driver is installed?
2. What firmware is on the router?
3. what modem gateway is the router connected to?
4. Does the IoT network work?
5. Any other devices having issues connecting?
6. Are you using wpa2, wpa2/wpa3 mixed mode, or wpa3 for security?
Just an FYI, the Realtek RTL8852BE is a wifi 6 card. It isn't 6E. meaning it can only connect to 2.4ghz and 5ghz. Not 6ghz.

Re: RAXE300 not connecting wifi 6
o I guess the rest of the questions are moot if the card is not a 6E, so I will just get one of those. Thanks for the heads up.

the intel AX210 is a pretty solid 6E card. You can also get the BE200 (wifi 7) card for around the same price. Just keep in mind with the BE200, it isn't compatible with most AMD systems or older intel systems. Its an "e" only card and not an "A+E" card like the AX210 (or your realtek)

Have you set the router to show 6 GHz as a separate SSID?
