Hello.
I recently replaced my Motorola router with the Nighthawk CXA80. Since then I have had issues with my Roku controls freezing up. I have updated the firmware and believe I am current. I have searched previous posts and found issues of Roku freezing up but they had other problems. I use Comcast as my internet provider. This happens when nothing else is actively using the router and I have turned everything else off. It seems to happen when the Roku control has not been used in few brief period. Once it starts to work it is good for quite a while. It is very frustrating. Can you help?
Thanks.
David

If it stays stable, I'd mark it as solved so others aren't still trying to fix it then.

Re: Roku Feeezing up
What band is the roku connected to?
What channels are you using for the 5ghz?
Any special characters in the ssid or password? (or spaces)
If so remove them

Re: Roku Feeezing up
Thanks for responding. I don't have 5G available. There are no special characters in my credentials, simply upper and lower case letters and numbers. I'm not sure what you're asking regarding Roku band.
Thanks, I appreciate any help..

Re: Roku Feeezing up
That roku is a dual band model and supports 5ghz.
If it picks up the 5ghz signal, you should connect to it.
2.4ghz is a really slow network and sensitive to interference. You'll have faster streaming and less interference over 5ghz.
